On May 17, 2021, Antero Resources Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference, announcing that the Company intends to commence a private offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2030 (the “Notes”). The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering and borrowings under its credit facility to fund the previously announced redemption of all of its 5.625% senior notes due 2023 (the “2023 Notes”) outstanding on June 1, 2021 at a redemption price of par plus accrued and unpaid interest. As of May 14, 2021, there was $574.2 million aggregate principal amount of 2023 Notes outstanding. The foregoing does not constitute a notice of redemption with respect to any of the 2023 Notes.
